Fresh air purifier has been sold the last 20 years by Alpine Industries, presently known as Ecoquest International.  Alpine has sold numerous fresh air purifiers using brand names such as Fresh Air, Living Air - Air Purifier,  Alpine Air - Air Purifier,  and Flair Air Purifier. They also marketed a product called "Breeze AT," which was blatantly close to an air cleaner marketed by Sharper Image using the trade marked name Ionic Breeze. Paradoxically, Sharper Image is now bankrupt and out of business. Another previous air purifier market leader, Oreck Air Purifier, has dropped from its former glory.

Even though the Company has been charged with many violations and fines, Ecoquest exists and is still marketing fresh air purifiers.. The Ecoquest air purifier is an ozone maker sold by a direct multi-level marketing organization.  There are several thousand of these fresh air purifiers sitting in boxes unused in garages of a membership group of approximately 100,000 commission only distributors around the globe  Be careful when purchasing an Ecoquest fresh air purifier because there are a number of impersonator manufacturers, principally in China, building and selling bogus Ecoquest air purifiers.

There is much accessible information on Ecoquest air purifiers especially on the internet.  Unfortunately, the data quality is awfully low, tainted by regular fair user reviews from Ecoquest' "independent" traders. Reviews from 68 Epinions users gave Econoquest a rating of 3.5 out of a possible 5. However, there are many bad reviews included in the data.

The Company has used the following words in their advertisements: "Fresh Air by EcoQuest is the safest, most wanted air purifier within the globe."  None of the claims in this statement have been proven by the Company. The privately owned Ecoquest claims to have sold in excess of $1 billion  of fresh air purifiers, mostly in the past five or six years. 

Ecoquest International, previously operating as Alpine Industries, was established by William Converse in the year 1986. There products have been promoted  mostly on talk radio, as well as Dr. Laura Schlesinger's show. Dr. Laura is well-known for the phrase  freely translated: “be the air purifier or Buy an air purifier." This suitable slogan is possibly the best moment of this Ecoquest assessment.

The multi-level marketing organization commences prolific conventions, with stage music and shows to motivate believers. A much loved historical episode of mine is the unsuccessful Northfield, Minnesota bank raid in 1876. The Jesse James gang was witnessed escaping from Minnesota State, and never caught.

An epoch was coming to a stop. Alpine/Eco-Quest has been caught up in one court case after another, losing over and over again. With every new injunction, minor modifications are done to the marketing claims and the Company continues to prosper.   One such court case, inside the Minnesota Supreme Court in more or less 1999, caused Alpine Industries located in Minnesota to reform as the existing company "Ecoquest International, Inc."  The Company  shifted operations to Greenville, Tennessee.  A series of renamed products emerged from the fly-by-night representation.  With sales in more than 70 countries around the globe, in addition to a never ending supply of new believers to do the same as the party line, this company will stay alive through any jurisdiction's effort to shut them down.  The Company now has a presence on the internet using affiliate marketing.  Be careful when you purchase a fresh air purifier.
